A Night at the Hotel Ruby Memorial Hospital

Last night Josiah decided to play a mean trick on us quit breathing for a short time. At around 10:00pm we heard a funny noise coming from his bedroom. We ran up to see what was wrong and he was struggling to breath and his lips and tongue were blue. We called 911. But the time the ambulance got to our house 5 minutes later he was starting to breath normal again. They took us to the hospital to make sure everything was okay. After staying up half the night watching doctors and nurses do all sorts of tests on him, they couldn't decide what was wrong so they kept us overnight to monitor him. He didn't have another spell so we came home around 2:00 this afternoon. They think he might have a virus that caused it, but they aren't sure because he doesn't show signs of being sick. We have a follow up doctor's appointment tomorrow to make sure his lungs sound good. We are hoping it was a fluke thing and that it won't happen again, but we are keeping close watch on him for the next couple of nights to make sure. Pray that everything is alright. We will keep you updated on what the doctor tells us tomorrow.
